The W25 Oldsmobile Outside Air Induction hoods we offer are the same construction/design as the original GM hoods. Our fiberglass top skin is SMC (sheet molding compound) fiberglass. The SMC material is cut into patterns and laid into the mold that is attached to a 1,500 ton press and has veins in the steel to heat molds to 300 degrees.
The SMC stamping is extremely durable and cured to never warp or accept any waves. These molds allow us to offer the best hoods ever produced.
Our hoods have a full stamped steel frame with a "factory style" wire mesh screen attached. The steel is stamped, and then CNC machined out for exact factory tolerances.
Hoods must ship Freight due to size and weight.
